Ronald Thompson
Author, novelist, and award-winning poet.
Ronald Thompson is an American writer and a Disabled Veteran of the United States Army. Tour of duty includes the Gulf-War Era, Panama, Germany, Ft Carson, CO and many temporary duty assignments. Served as Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserves and was assigned Battalion Chaplain 926 Engineer Battalion Birmingham, Alabama and the 490th Chemical Battalion Ft McClellan Anniston, Alabama Between those careers, he’s worked as a Founder of a Non- Profit Organization Standing in the Gap Incorporation, Ordained Minister, employed with Alabama Department of Youth and Corrections, Clinical Pastoral Resident Princeton Hospital Birmingham, AL among many other things. He now lives in Slidell, LA, and also have a home in Birmingham, Alabama He is currently married to Kecia. They also have three children, two dogs. Ronald grew up in Butler County, AL and traveled extensively around the world. Ronald was inspired to become a writer because the world is faced with so many challenges and issues. Ronald aspirations to write and address so he can shed light on some of the issues bring awareness to the short-comings in the world. Ronald is in hopes of his writings will make an impact to everyone that reads it.
